above the homeless. >> repairs also be made to the 8 in. water main that correct on november 13th. city officials and the funding for these repairs will come from money already collected from residents' water bills. >> the city of lafayette hopes to have a giant sinkhole that opened up after last weekend's severe storm repair by christmas. the city has hired martin to contractors c-c myers for the job. the sinkhole opened early in the morning on december 3rd on mountain view drive after a storm drain failed. it continued to grow for several days after. crews initially said the road would possibly be closed for the entire winter. >> one person is dead and two others injured falling separate shootings in oakland yesterday. police said man was found shot to death just after a 30 in the 800 block of hot in stride. minutes later a woman was reported shot and the 900
block of 18th street in west oakland. >> two was taken to the hospital in stable condition. the two shootings following an afternoon shooting in the 400 block of 16th street at about 230. the male victim in the incident was taken to the hospital in stable condition. he was caught uncooperative with police. police have not released details or motives or suspects. >> police arrest most suspects, including four women, in connection with the death of a man who was one of two people. down bound and gagged on a san this is the street. >> police are investigating --the male victim died his name was steven reed. the woman has not been and she is still in serious condition. she is expected to survive. the san francisco d.a. office tells us they have not received
